Hard to say without any errors since it could be any number of things but have you considered a package like WAMP? It'll install and interface everything you need in a nice easy to use fashion: http://www.wampserver.com/en/

Absolutely! We place fewer restrictions on the VPS accounts than shared hosting since the environment is 100% customizable and yours.

This would be pretty hit or miss I think. The support one would bring no real value to the table since we're already available 24/7 through the helpdesk and that's a lot easier (account verification, details, ticket history, etc) than doing support on IRC.

We've compiled all the suggestions into our internal system, and are looking at ways of cleanly incorporating this into the site / theme. Thanks for all the suggestions so far

Sounds like it got confusing fast eh ? Might be easier to diagnose this one via support ticket so we can include the actual real domain names and our guys can take a peak. Please contact them by either emailing [email protected] or logging into https://support.hawkhost.com if you already have submitted a ticket via email and have an account.

All you need to is point the document root of domainB to that of domainA when setting up the addon domain and it should work just fine

Sounds like something you'd be best off handling via ticket -- please either re-open the old ticket and reference this post, or submit a new one referencing it. We'll have it pushed off to our sysadmins immediately and it'll be looked into right away.

If you login to cPanel and go to the "Simple DNS Zone Editor" you can add a CNAME entry for www We can do it for you as well, all you'd need to do is submit a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com
