  1. Site loads fine here and appears to be using our nameservers so I'd say you're all set. If you do find a specific problem though best to let us know via ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com and we'll take a peak

    Vote for us!

We were recently nominated in an About.com poll for webhosting companies, and are looking for your votes to bring us atop the leaderboard. Tony could really use a victory on this, it might bring him back to full health (check out the blog to see what I mean). Click here to place your vote for Hawk Host Thanks folks
  3. Assuming all the files are showing up correctly, and your nameservers are set as ns1.hawkhost.com / ns2.hawkhost.com, you're probably all set. It's strange when things actually work for a change isn't it? If you'd like us to doublecheck for sure you can either provide us your domain name here (we won't reveal any account info here, you shouldn't either) or if you don't want that posted, go ahead and submit a ticket and we'll take it up there Thanks for choosing us
  4. Check this out, appears to do what you need: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=607539 Good luck
  5. We're actually working to get things changed up a bit around the forums, and to do exactly what you pointed out -- to make it more branded for us As for the server specs it's listed on the home page and at the bottom of the package offerings page, and lastly on the server page. You are right though in saying we don't make it very obvious, so we'll discuss a way to change this. Thanks for the extensive feedback, things like this help us improve in areas you guys find important.
  6. If you compile your own Git it will work under your account. We've had some users do this successfully so it will work.
  7. This work has been completed.
  8. Thanks for the info -- when you say you had to sign up twice, can you please explain a bit more what you had to do?
  9. Has this issue been cleared up for you yet? If not please contact our billing department and we'll get things sorted out.

  12. Our affiliate program can be activated through your client area at http://my.hawkhost.com. Once it's activated you'll be provided a URL to use, and it will keep track of your referrals, payments, etc. Unfortunately we do not have any banners made up, but we're working on that and hope to have some ready in the next few weeks

  22. Thanks for your interest in our services Here are to two test files you can download to test your speeds to our two facilities, Dallas and Washington DC: http://wdc.hawkhost.com/100mb.zip http://dal.hawkhost.com/100mb.zip In regards to reseller or VPS, that depends on how many resources you need. If you expect to push a lot of traffic and require a large amount of resources, VPS may be best. Otherwise, a reseller plan will work just fine.
  23. Machine is back online and connectivity has been restored. The raid array is currently rebuilding, we will update this thread when it's 100% done.
  24. The firmware has been upgraded at this time and the machine is coming back up now.
  25. The system will be down for approximately 15 minutes longer then anticipated, we had to physically remove the raid card to upgrade the firmware when we previously thought it could be done without removing it.
