Thanks for the review, we appreciate the feedback (both good and bad). Here's to another happy year or more with us

Sounds like something you'd be best off handling via ticket -- please either re-open the old ticket and reference this post, or submit a new one referencing it. We'll have it pushed off to our sysadmins immediately and it'll be looked into right away.

I've put this into our internal system for Cody. I'm sure he'll be pleased that I've added more work to his queue Thanks for the suggestion!

I believe Tony fixed your issue a little while ago

This is likely an issue with Wordpress -- your best bet would be to submit a support ticket so we can look into it there

You can give Gimp a shot, bit of a learning curve though: http://www.gimp.org/

- Will i be able to add PayPal and Ebay on my Site? Yep that's fine - Will i be able to add any Flash? Yep - Will i be able to add a pop up mp3 player? So long as you're not violating any copyright laws this will be okay.

1. Domain registration is $9.95/yr through us and includes privacy protection. ou can order on the order form or through https://my.hawkhost.com/domainchecker.php -- also you don't need to register the domain and transfer it to us, you can just update the nameservers to ours and you could still use our hosting. 2. Wordpress is fully supported and can be installed in a few clicks through Softaculous (a program installer in your control panel) 3. Washington DC would indeed be closest for someone in Ontario 4. We have a full knowledgebase for questions, our support team is here 24/7, and there are also video tutorials in cPanel 5. You do not get to pick the server, but you get to pick the location. 6. You will be charged right away (we cannot setup the account until we have payment) and anytime within the first 30 days if you're unhappy with something you can request cancellation + get the refund. Let us know if there's anything else

It's not a sense of humor, really, he's just so delusional from the lack of sleep

Sorry about the delay in getting back here, been hectic around these parts lately (Pluto hasn't been on his best behavior). Anywho, did some research and maybe these plugins will help? I just gave the Squirrel mail installer through Softaculous a shot on a test account of ours and it worked, so I don't think it's an issue with the system. Are there any specific errors or anything else you're seeing which might help us figure out what's wrong?

Over the past few months we've upgraded all of our servers, so in the time you signed up and he did, the machine he got placed on was upgraded to a higher specification. All of our servers and their specs can be seen here: http://www.hawkhost.com/Network/serverlist

In that case we'll probably want to look at it via a ticket, since we can't go through any sensitive details here on the forums. Go ahead and email support [*at*] hawkhost.com or submit a ticket at http://support.hawkhost.com Make sure you include your domain and what the problem is so our team can troubleshoot it for you

You can use the password protect option in cPanel to restrict access by a user/password (which obviously you only given to people who you want to view the site). Now as for the issue with Front Page extensions restricting the password protect option, all you need to do is disable those. Follow these steps: 1) Login to cPanel (http://yourdomain.com/cpanel) 2) Type 'Frontpage' in the top left finder in cPanel. This will take you to the Frontpage Extensions area. In here you'll see all of your domain, your addon domains, and your subdomains 3) Click 'uninstall' for the domain(s) you wish to remove the extensions for If that doesn't work out for you either update this thread or contact our support department

Right now this is not something we've really looked into and I can't be sure we will offer it at any time soon. One of the major features of these types of databases is scalability and performance at high work loads with lots of data across many servers, which someone in a shared environment wouldn't need.

Sounds like a miserable sleep schedule, what is it exactly you do that causes that?

Hal, APC does not play nicely with Zend Optimizer which is in far more demand than APC.

Any billing related issues are best handled via ticket, since we'll likely need to discuss account sensitive info which you wouldn't want in a public forum. We can apply affiliate money towards an invoice / upgrade.

Please submit a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com or email support [at] hawkhost.com, and in the ticket include your domain or username, along with detailing the problem. We'll fix the permission issue for you from there
