  1. Welcome to the forums, and thanks for signing up with us! You can absolutely host multiple domains from a single shared hosting plan. You can add the domains through cPanel using the 'Addon Domains' interface. There is no limit to the number of domains you can add and each will be their own unique site/content.
  2. This appears to have been resolved per ticket ID ZFM-517-37927. Please follow up there if you have any further issues or questions relating to this particular problem. Thank you!
  3. If you're referring to editing your DNS zone on your hosting account with us, you can find that in cPanel. Once you've logged into cPanel, use the top left search field to look for either the 'Simple DNS Zone Editor' or the 'Advanced DNS Zone Editor'. Depending on what you need to edit you'll use either one of those interfaces.

    Question

With our resource limiting your site wouldn't be suspended, it would just be limited (whether it's CPU limited, memory, entry processes, etc) until resources were made available. For example if you hit your PHP process limit (7 processes) you wouldn't be able to use another PHP process until one of the previous ones was freed up. The only time you'd be suspended for resource abuse is if your account was impacting the entire server at which point our abuse team would email you to notify you. I/O usage is the amount of disk throughput your account can utilize. With your setup (a forum and WP installation) you'll most likely never hit that limit so I wouldn't be concerned about it. Memory usage is fairly self-explanatory it's just the amount of physical memory (1GB) allocated to your account that all of your combined processes and operations can use. CPU usage is calculated based on running processes and you've got access to 1 full CPU and based on your graphs you're not even remotely close to hitting that limit. Lastly entry processes are the total number of running processes on your account at any given time (cron jobs, PHP processes, etc) which again I wouldn't be worried about based on your setup. The 128MB memory limit is the default PHP memory limit which is different than your accounts physical memory allocation. You can increase the PHP memory limit in cPanel under the PHP configuration editor, I believe the highest value you can set is 768MB but no single PHP process should be consuming that much memory.
  5. Sorry about the delay! If your order has not yet been setup please provide me with the order or invoice # in a PM on these forums or submit a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.comso we can check the status for you. Thank you!
  6. Please either open a support ticket at https://support.hawkhost.comfor help with this or send me a PM with your account details so I can look into this. We'd rather not reveal the details for an account being canceled publicly. Thank you!
  7. Hello! New domain name registrations are done for (usually) a 1 year minimum through most registrars. You have the option to register for a few years in advance but 1 year is the most common registration/renewal period. You can register the domain through another registrar while still using our web hosting, or you can register the domain through us while you order your web hosting plan. Unfortunately we do not offer free domain registration and the cost for most domains is $10.95 per year -- our available domains and pricing can be found at https://www.hawkhost.com/domains Thanks for checking out our hosting
  8. Hello, In order to provide you details about the issue we'll need a lot more information about your account and the issues you're having. If you haven't already I'd suggest contacting our support team at https://support.hawkhost.comfor assistance with this. They'll be able to look up your account details and attempt to reproduce the problem(s) you're experiencing with the website(s).
  9. Both wordpress.com and wordpress.org use the same underlying software (Wordpress). The difference between the sites is wordpress.com offers hosted Wordpress installations whereas wordpress.org is where you'd go to download the software itself to host it yourself. It's also worth noting that you can use Softaculous in cPanel with us to do a Wordpress installation instead of downloading the files from wordpress.org and installing the software manually.
  10. Hey Jeff! Welcome to the forums! If the second domain name you bought was just a registration and you didn't purchase a second hosting account then you wouldn't receive additional FTP/cPanel information. Those details are only sent when an actual hosting service is purchased. For your second domain you can add it to the existing hosting account using the 'Addon Domain' interface in cPanel. You can then either use the addon domain details to login via FTP or you can use the primary FTP login you were sent in the "New Account Information" email.
  11. It looks like your order has been setup at this point, you should have received an email titled "New Account Information" that includes all the details you need to get started. If you'd like more information about why the setup was delayed please update your ticket and we'll explain there (it's not something we'd like to disclose publicly). Thank you!
  12. Our billing team will need to remove these unwanted invoices for you. Please submit a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.comto our billing department and provide them with the list of the invoice #s you wish to have canceled.
  13. If you were to order a cPanel license with the VPS you'd get full root access, including full access to WHM (cPanels administrative backend / server management interface). You would then use WHMs 'Create a New Account' feature to setup new cPanel accounts which you could then provide access to.
  14. You'll want to add the following record under the 'Include' section in the 'Email Authentication' interface in cPanel: _spf.arandomserver.com That should take care of everything for SPF when using SpamExperts. If you run into any issues doing this our support team will also be able to add the record for you.
  15. Sorry about the delay there, it looks like that ticket was resolved (as you noted) a little bit earlier this afternoon. Thanks for signing up with us
  16. Right now we have no immediate plans to offer SD plans in Singapore. If you need a higher resource solution in Singapore please contact our billing team, we may be able to work out a VPS solution for you at a price that is close to an SD plan
  17. Are you referring to using addon domains under a single hosting account, or hosting the same domain name from multiple services? I'm afraid I'm not too clear on your requirements based on what you've provided. Any additional information/clarification would be helpful
  18. Thanks for the ticket ID. I'll take a look momentarily and update you through there
  19. Please try logging into your helpdesk account (https://support.hawkhost.com) using the same email address and password that you use for your client area (https://my.hawkhost.com/clientarea.php). The login details for both properties are the same, and it's based off the client area, so if you can access your client area you should also be able to access your helpdesk. This is possible, could you please let me know your ticket ID? I'll look into this further through your ticket and follow up with you there with more details about this.
  20. Take a look at http://features.cpanel.net/responses/two-factor-authentication-is-a-must Long and short of it is they're well aware of the request, they'd be pretty out of touch if they hadn't at least discussed/considered supporting 2 factor authentication. There are some free/public modules you can install (as the root user) to implement this for WHM but nothing natively supported (as of yet). I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see full 2 factor support by the end of the year, if not sooner. Much to cPanels credit they've been implementing a lot more feature requests lately, their releases are more frequent, and are also full of new features, especially with a focus on security.
  21. All shared hosting plans have an outbound email limit of 500 per hour. Semi-dedicated plans allow you to send up to 2,000 per hour, and our VPS plans do not have an outbound email limit.
  22. We do not have any free trials, but we do have a 30 day money back guarantee on our shared, reseller, and semi-dedicated plans. If at any point in the first 30 days you'd like to cancel you're able to and a full refund will be issued within 24 hours.
  23. I would suggest starting out with shared hosting (easier to manage, offers automatic Wordpress installs, etc) and upgrading to a VPS if necessary
  24. Thank you for signing up with us
  25. Thank you for choosing to host with us! I think you'll be very happy with the quality of hosting you continue to receive
