To setup another website under your existing plan you would use the 'Addon Domain' interface from cPanel. Once it's added you can install your software, upload your content, create emails, etc. Addon domains are treated as completely separate sites from your primary domain or other addon domains. If you're unable to create an addon domain from cPanel you'll want to provide our support team with the exact error(s) so we can figure out what's going on!

Our semi-dedicated hosting plans are similar to shared hosting in terms of features, the benefit of the semi-dedicated plans is they offer double the resources of the shared plans. Shared hosting comes with 1CPU, 1GB RAM, 5Mb/s I/O limits, 500,000 inodes, and the ability to send 500 emails per hour. Semi-dedicated hosting has 2CPUs, 2GB RAM, 10Mb/s I/O, 1,000,000 indoes, 2,000 emails per hour, and backups are taken twice per day. If you have a high traffic site or you find yourself hitting resource limits in shared hosting then semi-dedicated is a good upgrade

This could be caused by a few things, unfortunately it's hard to say without looking into your account specifically. Please contact our support department (https://my.hawkhost.com/submitticket.php) and provide us with your WP admin login details so we can replicate & fix this. Thanks!

Railgun is completely free and is available in our Washington DC, Dallas TX, Los Angeles CA, Singapore, and Amsterdam datacenters!

Unfortunately it is not possible to add the same domain to an account twice. If I'm misunderstanding and you're referring to something else please let me know!
-
We do not restrict the amount of space you can use for storing email. Something to keep in mind though is the professional plan has an inode limit of 500,000 and each email you store will consume one inode, so there is a limit to the total number of files you can have on the account.

Cloudflare does not work on root domain (without www)?
Brian replied to ArinMelvin's topic in Shared Hosting
It's essentially the same thing for basic Cloudflare functionality, with the cPanel integration you have the convenience of being able to manage all your settings from a single interface. With that said when you activate Cloudflare through cPanel it asks you to create a Cloudflare account which you can also use to login to https://www.cloudflare.com/ directly so you still have that option even if you get started through cPanel. -
We do not utilize mod_cloudflare however as a Cloudflare partner with full cPanel integration all the benefits of mod_cloudflare, including being able to view the visitors real IP address in your logs, is available.

All servers are synced using NTP, in this case the NTP service was stopped so we just had to start it back up. That was a one-off thing as under normal circumstances NTP would be running at all times. We do recommend using 2FA whenever possible

It sounds like your domain name may not be pointed to us, or you've installed WordPress in a directory other than your sites document root. It would be best to have our helpdesk team investigate this so they can pull up your account details, login to your services, etc., and get an idea of how you've setup the site. If you haven't already please submit a ticket through https://my.hawkhost.com/submitticket.php and we'll get this figured out for you!

Time should now be properly synced on that node, please check your VPS and if it's reporting wrong still a support ticket would be best so we can look into your specific VPS

We have countless customer websites being monitored through services like Uptime Robot / Pingdom / StatusCake on our network and I've never once seen a complaint involving a performance issue as a result of the monitoring. Most of those services will let you choose how you monitor the site, whether it's through ICMP (ping), checking a specific URL (https://yoursite.com/amionline.html), a specific port, etc. I would be incredibly surprised if you setup an HTML page for monitoring and ended up seeing some performance degradation.

You'll want to login to cPanel for your hosting plan and navigate to the "Let's Encrypt" interface to install your SSL certificates if they aren't being added automatically. Simply re-directing via .htaccess won't work if there isn't an SSL certificate on the domain already. Our KB article can guide you through this as well: https://support.hawkhost.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/153/0/how-do-i-install-a-lets-encrypt-free-ssl-certificate

Please add India as new location on shared hosting packages
Brian replied to Rakesh's topic in Suggestions
Thanks for your suggestion! We've often considered opening a location in India and we've had discussions on this as recently as the past few months, so it's definitely something we've looked into! At the moment I'm afraid we don't have any immediate plans to open up a location in India however it would absolutely be on our short list for our next expansion -
You'd be best to contact our helpdesk team (https://my.hawkhost.com/submitticket.php) for assistance with this as there are simply too many variables to take a guess what might be causing this. They should be able to look through your error logs to determine what is blocking the images from being displayed

Hello -- if you're able to login to cPanel for this account then you can use our one-click software installer 'Softaculous' to complete your WP install. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and everything will be handled for you as far as the initial installation is concerned.

Hi there! Unfortunately at the moment Django isn't fully supported in our shared / reseller / semi-dedicated hosting environments. You may be able to get it working however it would likely be buggy or not function as you'd expect. We've been working on a native implementation for Django though so hopefully within the coming months it will be available

Hi there! I see both sites are loading and showing Wordpress installations so they are working and online. If you're still having issues I'd recommend submitting a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com so our support team can investigate this further for you!

Hi there! Our resource limits for the semi-dedicated plans look to be higher than the 'Deluxe' plan based on that chart you linked to. Our semi-dedicated plans offer: 2 CPUs 2GB Memory/RAM 10Mb/s I/O 50 Concurrent MySQL connections 20 entry processes If your site is running without issues on their Deluxe plan I see no reason it wouldn't be fine on our semi-dedicated plans

The disk space addons are billed monthly and the renewal dates for the addons won't necessarily line up with the renewal dates of your hosting service. We can modify that manually if you want though so your addon billing dates match with your hosting plan renewal dates so you receive just one invoice per month. With that being said if you're on the professional plan there would be no reason to order those addons since you have unlimited disk space anyway

Pending status!!! Guys please fly like a hawk.
Brian replied to RaeRoeZta's topic in Sales Questions
Thanks for signing up! Unless your order was flagged and was assigned for manual review. It should have been setup by now. If not please let me know your order or invoice number so I can pull up the status. -
Hi there! The only difference between those plans is the disk space quota, all other features and resources are the same

Outside of our own KB and what you can find on Google there is the official cPanel/WHM documentation: Guide to Reseller Accounts How to create a cPanel account from WHM Creating a hosting account package (disk space, bandwidth, etc) Editing an accounts DNS Zone As a reseller those will be the most frequent tasks you're likely to perform. Once you become comfortable with creating cPanel accounts from WHM the rest of the options became more familiar and easier to use. Past the initial learning curve you'll find most tasks become second nature as you use the WHM interface. As you're also aware our support team is available 24/7/365 so if you have any other questions that can't be answered by documentation you can always ask us directly for help and guidance.
