  1. Just some information - it appears the DDoS was in excess of 10Gbit prior to the null routing of the IP.
  2. The machine has been stable and has been running without any issues for several hours now. It appears the DDoS has subsided. We consider this issue closed as of now.
  3. Everything has been stable for awhile now. We'll be monitoring everything for the evening / morning and provide updates as they become available.
  4. The machine is under attack again so we've had to temporarily disable one shared IP. A small portion of people may be affected while we investigate further.
  5. All of the websites have been migrated to the new IPs. Please allow a few hours for the DNS to propagate. It is recommended you use https://spitfire.hawkhost.com:2083 to login to the control panel for the time being. We'll be providing more information regarding the DDoS once we investigate it further.
  6. We're still in the process of migrating the websites across several IPs. We're about half way done with the sites affected.
  7. Earlier this evening Spitfire came under a very large DDoS forcing the IP being attacked to be null routed due to it causing network degradation issues for our upstream provider. As a result we're in the midst of migrating affected shared clients to new IPs - we expect this to be finished shortly however depending on DNS changes it can take a few hours for it to fully resolve for you. We're extremely sorry for the inconvenience and are working on bringing everyone affected online ASAP. If you have a dedicated IP or are on an alternate IP or are on an alternate shared IP your website is online. This only affects a portion of users on the server..
  8. Is this because you're behind a firewall / router or because your ISP blocks port 25? If it's the latter you can use the alternate port 26 for SMTP. Your question doesn't make much sense to me however. The e-mails would be on our server and you would fetch them using one of the protocols we offer - SMTP (port 25) being a protocol to send mail however. If you could clarify what you're trying to do a bit more we should be able to point you in the right direction .
  9. I'm glad you like it - we're still going to tweak it a bit but we're fond of having it be unique to us while still being simple and clean. Look for some new features soon as well !

  13. The machine is currently online. We're investigating what caused the machine to lock up initially.
  14. It appears there was a kernel panic on the machine. We're currently investigating what may have caused it. All services are currently online.

  16. By looking at the requirements it looks like you shouldn't have any issues hosting it with us.
  17. It might be worth sharing the answer here for others. Typically allow a few hours especially if you're ordering licenses (cPanel, Litespeed, etc).

  20. We can do this - typically we'd attempt to use cPanels Plesk migration tool which usually works fine. We can also migrate the files, databases and such over manually. The work flow (VPS) would generally be: 1) Order the VPS and await activation 2) Once activated setup the basic cPanel settings (setup PHP how you want, misc settings) 3) Submit a ticket to our VPS department stating you want to migrate from your old Plesk based host to your new VPS which has cPanel. Provide the login information to the other host. We'll start the migration and keep you updated via ticket. 4) Write a review how awesome we are. (OPTIONAL)
  21. Everything appears to have calmed down so we're closing this topic.
  22. While we're investigating the origins of the attack we're considering this issue closed as service has been fully restored once cisco guard protection was enabled. We'll keep this thread open for 24 hours during our monitoring of the server.
  23. It appears there was a large DDoS against the Phantom server causing public network connectivity issues. We're still investigating this further but as of this time have mitigated the attack. More information forthcoming.
  24. We monitor services and such internally however we may add a page on our website to display these as well. It's on our to-do list .
  25. Not at this time however in the future we're open to expanding to Europe and Asia.
