I don't intend to use it on a live environtment. I only wanted to play with it, but if it's not possible, oh well.

Well it appears the Spammers have smartened up to SpamAssassin with a vengeance now on my end. With the majority of my Spam going right past their filters. I thought about trying to lower the SpamAssassin threshold, but my concern here is I may bust too many innocent emails. What kinds of things have you folks tried to knock the Spam Count down within SpamAssassin these days?

Just curious how Xenforo compares to VBulletin in terms of resource usage?

I am manually installing WP with intent of  going to WPMS immediately
I have done this multiple times on another hosting that uses a different panel
 
 
#1. No offense to the auto-installers, but I have heard if I use them I may run into problems with WP upgrading
Is this true or not?
 
#2. I can not get the install to work/make database.  Error:

Everything was fine when I edited one of my sites yesterday, but this afternoon when I went in to make another tweak I was suddenly confronted with an error claiming that the site couldn't connect to MySQL. This site (a MediaWiki installation), a second MW installation and a WordPress installation all gave me the same sort of error. The WordPress error, for reference:
 
Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.
 
All of my other sites, including several other WordPress installs, were fine.
 
A quick poke around with some googling and some phpinfo files showed me that the MySQL extenion does not in fact appear to be activated on those three sites, which were all using PHP 5.3.18 as opposed to the default 5.2.17. I've fixed the problem by adjusting their .htaccess files so that my websites are back on 5.2, and I'll be leaving them that way for the time being since they work fine on that version. But I'm not sure why 5.3 would suddenly lose its ability to connect to MySQL... did something happen? I haven't made any changes on my end recently that should have affected this, at least, and I haven't bothered trying to create any custom php.ini files at all. If it's even possible for me to have affected this in the first place.
 
Not sure whether anyone else using 5.3 (or 5.4, which I tested and which also gives the same error) is having this problem. I'm curious as to why the MySQL extension would suddenly be disabled (or something), though, since it was fine and my sites worked normally as of 10 PM EST yesterday.

So after a month of good service, I go to login to my account, and i see that I can't. It says "Login Details Incorrect. Please try again."
 
As anyone would do at this point, I go to reset my password where I get this message "No client account was found with the email address you entered"

My websites still work, just no CPanel.
If this is in the wrong section, please tell me where to move it (Couldn't find the "Support" section)
 
Oh, and my Support.Hawkhost.com account doesn't work either, so I can't make a ticket.
 
I still have my Paypal receipt if the admins need it to confirm.

I am on shared hosting and have some wordpress sites.
 
I noticed that my sites were loading very quickly today, but as of now it is taking around 7-15 secs to load.

P.s. I have also checked in pingdom speed tool and in the moring it was showing my site is faster than 60% of websites, but as of now it is showing "Your website is slower than 82% of all tested websites"

i'm having a very strange page delivery delay problem. much too often i have to wait around 10 secs to get a response from the server.
 
 
- the delay is always very tight around 10 secs - never 8 secs, never 12 secs (see pix)
 
- the delay happens sometimes every 10th page,  sometimes every 2nd page, no consistency 
 
- without the super delay, delivery is without problems, around 1 - 2 secs
 
- even delayed pages have always normal php build times between 0.3 - 0.9 secs 
 
- strange: while waiting the 10 seconds for a response, a parallel ping is returned 10 times without loss and very tight at 140ms
 
- after 10 sec the page will always be delivered - no waiting forever, no loss, no reset
 
- the delay is independent of the page size. the first attached pix shows a "10 second" logout which only sends a redirect but no data
 
- i didn't get static pages delayed, only php pages (zend framework), but again php build times are always normal. 
 
- happens with different browsers. first pic: opera. second: chrome
 
- i'm on wdc006 - requesting in europe.
 
- other internet access without any delay or problems

whats going on?

i think i have deleted something from my hosting, i can't access my cpanel from url for example : http://example.com/cpanel
i have to login directy on the hosting panel in order to access my cpanel, how can i fix it without the normal redirection, from what i know that this is a standar server setting
