On Wednesday July 11th starting at 2PM CDT we will be taking the Mars server down to run a file system check due to some reported errors after reviewing system logs. We estimate the actual file system check will take less than an hour, however we've left the window open for 3 hours in the event we run into unexpected issues. Date: 07/11/2012 Start time (CDT): 2:00PM End time (CDT): 5:00PM Duration: 3 hours Estimated Down Time: 60 minutes or less Throughout this window our support team will be available for any questions. They can be contacted via ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com.

Small announcement but figured it was worth posting, we now have CentOS 6 available on the order form for your VPS orders!
-
You can upgrade right through your client area, instructions can be found out https://support.hawkhost.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/87/0/how-do-i-upgrade--downgrade-my-service

Your screenshots are in a language we do not support so I'm not sure what they say. That in mind you should submit a ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com for help with this issue it wouldn't be something we can handle over a public forum.

The FSCK has completed and the system is back online at this time. All sites should be loading again.
-
FSCK has completed on /home. We're running /var and /usr now which should be completed shortly.
-
FSCK is at 75% complete on the /home partition.
-
FSCK is at 30% complete on the /home partition.

cPanel (our web based control panel) makes this super easy to do fortunately. What you're going to want to do is: 1) Login to cPanel (details can be found in your "New Account Information" email) 2) Once you've logged in, type 'Addon Domains' in the top left finder. 3) Select the 'Addon Domains' interface and go through the steps to add your new domain(s) That's it! If you run into issues or have questions I'd suggest opening at ticket at https://support.hawkhost.com as you'll receive a reply faster than in these forums, and we can pull up your account details and provide a more personal level of support.

Usually if an order is pending for that long it's been flagged for manual review. I've reviewed our pending order queue and we've got nothing over one hour old at this point so I suspect you're setup. If not please PM me your domain name or contact our sales team.
-
Howdy -- you'd be able to use both on a shared hosting account though our support team would need to assist in getting it setup. Just submit a ticket with our helpdesk (https://support.hawkhost.com) and we can help you out.

Anyone on voodoo should be able to access their sites, we fixed that issue a bit ago. We're not seeing issues with any other systems right now so we'd definitely need a ticket to investigate that.
-
Without knowing what your account is or what server you're on it's impossible to say. We did have a brief issue with the voodoo server this morning which would have caused some connectivity problems for your site(s). I always suggest submitting a ticket directly with our helpdesk team for something like this as we'll be able to reply more quickly than a forum thread and with more details as well

Please try using the coupon code vps25 -- that should work for you

Available IP space is the primary reason, as APNIC is out of IPs and our provider (Softlayer) is making it more difficult (justifiably so) to obtain IPs in that region. As for Amsterdam it's simply a matter of demand, our VPS customer base is happy with the locations we offer and there isn't enough interest right now to bring AMS in to that arena.

cPanel login doesn't ask me to save password in Chrome
Brian replied to jaroo's topic in Shared Hosting
This is actually a bug with cPanel in their latest version and there is an open bug with their development team for this. We have no ETA (they've not provided one) on a fix but it'll be posted in their change log (found here: cPanel 11.32 changelog ) once it is. -
I think you're referring to our VPS plans here so I'm replying based on that assumption. Our VPS products are available as an upgrade path for shared users who grow out of that environment, or for users who need a reliable VPS they can count on the performance with (i.e. not overselling / guaranteed resources). A VPS plan like the one above would be more in line with a budget provider which is a market we're not interested in competing in, at least not until our VPS services become a more primary product line compared to shared+reseller hosting.
-
All of our hosting is unmanaged currently, we don't have any managed solutions available for any of our plans. While our support is always available to help/debug site issues we're not providing what could be considered a managed option.
-
This is something we may look into modifying, currently the way we have our workfow/helpdesk setup it isn't an option though. If there is a ticket you'd like closed you can ask in your last reply and we'll make sure that's done for you.
-
We've already got shared services up in both Singapore and Amsterdam, and have since shortly after Softlayer launched them: http://www.hawkhost.com/network Unfortunately we can't provide VPS/reseller plans in those locations so it's limited to shared hosting only.
-
We have no interest in reselling this panel, as we don't use it ourselves and therefore could not provide the level of support we can with cPanel based systems. However we don't stop customers from installing it on their VPS should they choose. If a customer wishes to use DirectAdmin over cPanel there'd be nothing to stop them from licensing+installing it themselves
-
Both Debian and Ubuntu are already offered as an option on the VPS order form. Our VPS plans are semi-managed, as we take no effort/steps outside the initial creation of the VPS to configure the server initially. That said if a user chooses to completely manage the VPS without contacting us that's an option. We provide semi-managed support in the event one does run into an issue, we want customers to know we're available if needed.
-
You're quite welcome
-
At this time we don't offer registration/transfer services for .it domains, so I'm afraid we can't offer that to you. You can obviously still host the site itself with us and point the nameservers to ours but we're just unable to be the registrar.

Pulling up your ticket ID it looks like Tony has responded so I suspect this can now be handled there
