  1. I'm just throwing out some random concepts from some Hawk Host drawings that were done for fun. Text Only 1a 1b 3a 3b More in next post

The real problem now is them signing up leaving signatures and home pages. We tried a few plugins and most of them did not even work and the ones that did were not helpful. We'll be switching over to IPB soon like on the Frog Host forums.

Just thought I'd point out we've now hit the 1000 member mark on the forums. Unfortunately though the majority of them are bots
  4. Well my opinion is not a great one. I'd just pick whichever everyone else likes.
  5. FTP accounts, htaccess files, your scripts paths would need updated if they're not using relative. cPanel itself will change all emails, sub domains and things of that nature. You really should not do this unless you have a really good reason. You're just creating a lot of unnecessary work
  6. Well does anyone have any suggestions for one?

Yep looks like it's not coming back now so this issue should be resolved.

At this point in time we believe the attack has been mitigated and we're no longer seeing the substantial number of attacking IP's as previously did.

Some aspects of it have been mitigated but it's not fully resolved as of yet.

The Saturn server has come under a large distributed denial of service attack. This is resulting in slower than usual response times from the server. We are actively working towards filtering this attack.

    Upgrade

You can upgrade your account at any time via our client area. You will not need to remove your files or re-import databases or anything of that nature. Our system will just change your allocations.
  12. When making a subdomain put in * for the field and it makes a wildcard record in the dns and in the web servers configuration file.
  13. cPanel supports several languages. Keep in mind this is just cPanel though we only provide support in English.
  14. /home/username/public_html/forum This would be right assuming your forum is at http://yourdomain.com/forum Obviously replace username and yourdomain.com with your username and domain.
  15. Well basically if you pay more we're more lenient as far as CPU and memory usage. We believe this is fair if you pay more then you should get more of that piece of the pie as well. But it's all part of an invisible usage line still that we draw on an account by account basis.
  16. You have SSH on your account so tough to say why you're not able to connect at least via our forum anyways best make a ticket.
  17. This has been completed.
  18. Have you asked for us to enable SSH for you? By default accounts do not have SSH enabled until we're given a reason. Until then basically what happens is you put in your username and password and it tells you sorry you do not have access and it ends the session. In the java applet it may very well actually close when that happens.
  19. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ This is the largest web hosting forum as far as I know which is why I posted it. I'm going to close this topic before it turns into a massive flame war. Everyone should just play nice.
  20. The time frame of data sync was a little higher as on a shared IP we have to migrate all data across and in this case Titan had a lot of users on one of the IP's with a lot of data. Totally did not expect this and in other cases still did not cause issues. This user as well as 2 others had some data (MySQL) come out of sync. We offered both other users the option of us syncing things again they accepted. This user declined our offer so there is not much more to talk about here. So down time can be up to 5 minutes to re-route the IP. Migrating data takes longer we try to get the non database heavy insert sites in before the database ones as well. It's just a difficult juggling game to play. Which is why we encourage users to make tickets if they have an issue and we can re-migrate data like we had for a few.

  22. Same deal as the other topic you really should not be posting your tickets in our forums or the replies.
  23. I'm closing this thread because this makes no sense. I'm not sure why you're posting your ticket replies to our forum. The Titan migration was necessary a small minority of users had some data sync issues. We've migrated lots of other servers never had the issue come up. The users who contacted us had the data re-migrated and the issue was solved. You declined this offer since you already started doing this yourself. You made the ticket and had a response offering a re-migration 30 minutes later.
  24. This has started. For the next few days there will be a oldtitan (old server) and a titan (new server) hostname. Best to not force hostname but rather access things using your domain so it redirects you to the server you're on.
  25. Our server does not run the same system. Any host running Config Server Firewall probably has the same situation come up. Although a lot may run older systems like APF but we do not. One of the features advertised right on their page says "Ping of death protection" and it's on by default for good reason so pretty safe to say majority who run it also will block excessive ping traffic.
