I made an "official" post at http://forums.hawkhost.com/topic/2319-semi-dedicated-plans-now-available/ but since that forum doesn't permit comments/feedback, I wanted to open up a topic here to introduce our newest service, semi-dedicated hosting.

What do you guys think of the plans? Any feedback or suggestions you can make initially? These plans are brand new, we launched them maybe an hour before I made this post so we're very receptive to feedback and opinions right now.

    Let us hear it

Brian got a reaction from lina in Domain Registrations Changes (Good ones!)
Very small change to our domain registration offerings, but we're now accepting 2 and 3 year registrations and renewals on the following domains:

    .com
    .net
    .org
    .info
    .us
    .biz
    .name

Previously the longest term we offered was one year. Pricing for all these TLDs is $21.90 for 2 years and $32.85 for 3. We're also looking into offering some different domains, specifically .ca, com.au, .net.au, .me, and maybe a few others.

If there are any specific ones you guys would like offered / see value in, I'm all ears!

We published this on our blog earlier today but I wanted to open a thread here as well to get your thoughts/feedback:

    http://blog.hawkhost.com/2012/10/15/hawk-host-and-cancer-awareness/

In short we're going to be donating money to the American Cancer Society for every order we receive using coupon code beatcancer -- the amount donated depends on how much you save.

I'm hard pressed to think of a single person I know in my personal life who hasn't been impacted by cancer in one way or another. Everyone here at Hawk Host is determined to help make a difference, even beyond this initial fund raising event.

We hope everyone takes a few minutes and checks out the ACS website at http://www.cancer.org/ to see how you can help give back.
