Raptor
Hi, I have heard a lot about HawkHost being one of the best hosting companies out there. So, now it's my turn to move to HawkHost. I run my phpbb gaming forum and I am planning to shift it to HawkHost; but the problem is that I don't know how to move forums and I have no idea of how to do it. Is there any way someone from HawkHost can do the job for me? Would this charge extra? I need it to be moved fast cause my current host is being very crappy and is expiring within 4 days. We can move this for you - if your previous host uses cPanel the process is simplified greatly and we'll only require either a backup file generated via cPanel and or the login credentials to your current host so we can transfer. If they don't use cPanel we can transfer it but it won't be as complete - things such as e-mails, stats and so forth will need to manually be recreated. The files, databases and such would be migrated without issue . There is no fee for us transferring stuff for you, just submit a ticket to our support department . **EDIT** Things like this will be attended to quicker if you submit them to our sales department. You're more than welcome to post here however we can't guarantee as timely of a response.
Raptor
Fortunately, my current host uses a CPanel, so I would only need to provide you with my current host's CPanel login details, right? And really, you relieved me.
Brian
Correct, we would only need the login details to your existing hosts cPanel or you would need to upload a backup to your account with us and let us know the path to it for us to restore.
