cPanel login doesn't ask me to save password in Chrome

I used to have my cPanel username/password saved in Chrome so I wouldn't have to remember it (copy and paste from client area). Now, with the new cPanel login page, I don't get asked to save the password in Chrome. Is this by design? (I get asked in Opera but Chrome is my primary browser).

Yes, I have checked to make sure that the address is not listed in the "never save" area.

I've also disabled all extensions to make sure one wasn't conflicting and nothing.

Excellent. At least I know I'm not crazy! Thanks for the information!

Also for anyone else annoyed by this, I created a bookmark in my chrome bar and when I click on that, I'm still logged in. Nice, easy, work-around!

I know you may want to be storing the passwords in Chrome but I'd suggest against this. You may want to consider using Keepass or Lastpass for your password storing as it's much more secure than having them saved in your browser.

Can you explain how storing in my browser is not secure?
