Can you explain how storing in my browser is not secure?

Excellent. At least I know I'm not crazy! Thanks for the information! Also for anyone else annoyed by this, I created a bookmark in my chrome bar and when I click on that, I'm still logged in. Nice, easy, work-around!

I used to have my cPanel username/password saved in Chrome so I wouldn't have to remember it (copy and paste from client area). Now, with the new cPanel login page, I don't get asked to save the password in Chrome. Is this by design? (I get asked in Opera but Chrome is my primary browser). Yes, I have checked to make sure that the address is not listed in the "never save" area. I've also disabled all extensions to make sure one wasn't conflicting and nothing.
