cyprusTM Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 I just bought hosting from Hawk. and i want to know if all thouse folders are necesary. because it kinda looks like a mess. in the www folder there are a bunch of folders and i was wondering if it can be cleaned up, or are thouse necessary for host/site to run? right now i havent uploaded anything on server yet. Tony Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 Every folder except for cgi-bin are used by frontpage. If you have no plans on using frontpage extensions then you can delete the folders. You can also go into cPanel, and disable front page extensions which will also remove the frontpage related folders. That's what I did on my account.
