Tony Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Every folder except for cgi-bin are used by frontpage. If you have no plans on using frontpage extensions then you can delete the folders. The two HTML files used are also not needed they are information files. Quote
Rab Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 hi there just to clarify, EVERTHING inside the www folder can be deleted, bar the cgi-bin folder & htacess file ? if frontpage not needed? Quote

Cody R. Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 You can remove the cgi-bin/ and .htaccess folder/file if you like. If you plan on running any CGI scripts then you'll need the cgi-bin/ folder . Quote

You can also go into cPanel, and disable front page extensions which will also remove the frontpage related folders. That's what I did on my account. Quote
