Never mind. Just saw on WHT that CL had a bug in a release and it's fixed now.

I noticed all three of my cPanel accounts I have on the Saturn server were maxed CPU from 9/8 to 9/11. These are low volume sites and this is unusual. One site is only a static html demo site I use for clients that receives no traffic. Was there something going on during that time period? Very weird. Thanks.

Did you mean to say increase or decrease?

Some say it speeds up the site by caching certain files on CloudFlare servers all over the world (closer to your visitors) and relieves the server of some of the work to deliver the content. It also affords your site some protection from hackers and spammers. Hope this helps.

With the shortage of Ip's these days, most hosts require a valid reason for an additional IP, like the need for private SSL.

Most cloud providers are basically just giving you a scalable VPS. I don't think you will find a reliable cloud service cheaper than a reliable VPS service. Try cutting back on PHP scripts and MySQL queries (plugins/components).

Even with a database-driven site, it will depend. 5K visitors a day equates to 3.5 visitors each minute if spaced evenly throughout the day, which any shared hosting should be able to handle. That's another story if they all are online at the same time. Caching and optimizing will help a lot.

Unfortunately, once a domain is registered there is no turning back. You would best be served by registering the proper domain and have HawkHost change the primary domain on the account.

I like this proactive approach to monitoring resource usage. My site does not suffer because someone on the node is hogging all the shared resources until someone complains and the techs track down the offending user. I imagine the only people who won't welcome this are the folks who need to be on a VPS or dedicated box but don't want to give up the lower cost of shared hosting. Thank you for running Cloud Linux.
