PDO should be running on all servers. If it's saying otherwise I suggest making a ticket so we can look into why it's not loading.

Not on the site right now and won't be. We're busy working on other things and getting our new site up. It's posted around the internet so I figured it was worth mentioning here. What the coupon would provide is 50% off the first payment so the person could sign up for a year use the coupon and get 50% off the total price for the first year. Only works on the first payment so you get your most bang for your buck on the annual term but it can be used on any term.

How everything knows where their site would be once they switch to an account with us would be the fact our dns server (ns1.hawkhost.com and ns2.hawkhost.com) tell everyone what Ip the site is on. Then on the web server itself it figures out the actual directory and things like that based off of the domain the request was for. As for moving them you'd need to upload the files to their account. There is no backup utility for cPanel for add-on domains so uploading the files, making the databases, emails ect. would need to be done. So it might be easier to get themselves an account now if it's within a few months that'll want their own account with us. Right now we have a 50% off first payment coupon "newyear2009" which make make it an easier decision to do it now.

8% completed thus far.

Should be 100% completed. We're just double checking things and making any last configuration changes.
-
85% completed! On pace to be finished soon

Yeah we stick to what fantastico supports so upgrades and things like that work and we're not stuck making things work. Most scripts are easy to install if the user has a bit of knowledge and can follow instructions. It's just a tiny bit more work than clicking a button to install it.

75% completed. Should be completed by the end of the day.

We will be upgrading the Mercury server starting on Saturday January 10th. We will be upgrading the machine to a Intel Xeon 5430 (2.66ghz) machine. It'll see it's move to 64bit which should hopefully provide a performance improvement there as well. Various other components will also be upgraded but not worth talking about such as a newer raid card and hard drives. We'll do this upgrade by moving everyone to a new server already configured so there should be almost no down time. Along with this move as we migrate users to the new machine they will be greeted with LiteSpeed. This will provide we hope a significant speed improvement for all users. This will also move us one step closer to having all machines once again on the same configuration. For this move we expect no more than 5 minutes of down time for any site. The reason being we will re-route the IP a site is on once we've moved the site. We are estimating this will take us a maximum of three days but we hope to have this done within two days. We're sorry about the late notice on this but we do not expect any service interruption at all. If you have any questions about this do not hesitate to contact us. Start Date: 01/10/2009 End Date: 01/13/2009 Estimated Down Time: less than 5 minutes Duration: 3 days

50% completed or so at this point. We'll have everything moved some time tomorrow at this rate as things were not started until about 2pm yesterday (1:30am on the 9th already!) No issues have been reported so seems a smooth transition thus far
-
40% completed. Doesn't always move as fast as we'd like since some users have just big files others have a million small files thus it takes forever. Our goal is to have this done by tomorrow rather than the 11th. So hopefully it's that way so we can move onto the next machine.
-
About 15% done. But I am basing this off of space usage not # of accounts as moving data is slow moving the accounts themselves is fast.
-
3 percent done thus far! It was only started about 30 minutes ago however so we may actually finish this much faster than before. The reason being our migration tools have been much improved since we last migrated an entire server.

Skyline is now running LiteSpeed.
-
Just to update this as it was already suppose to be completed. We have it running and have not got around to full configuration. So this will be completed tomorrow around this time.

Well eventually you'll have used all our different ranges. So once you have accounts on every machine I'd say you've used up all the shared IP ones and you'd be looking at dedicated IP's.

We have numerous C class blocks in use so different servers have different blocks. Different locations are guaranteed to have different blocks.
-
We have a gzip compression system running on our systems.
