Limey Packet
I have a philosophical question for you all to think about. If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done? Let me know what you think.
Brian
I'd say you've spun your wheels and have made it no where, despite the play on words. If your goal is to fail, at least aspire to something, anything, in case you manage to succeed.
speedturtle
If you try to fail and succeed...That's rather ambiguous. It can mean: a) succeeding in failing your work. (very easy to do) or succeeding in your work despite trying to fail. (very difficult to achieve unless luck's on your side) Good question, though. Fowler
My brain hurts I would say you have succeeded as if your aim was to fail and you succeed then now you would have failed which is your aim and therefore succeeded in your aim.... Alkaline
You Fail. If you try to fail and succeed, you failed at failing. If you try to fail and fail, you still failed.
