tomtom76
Good Morning! One of my users wants to read his email via webmail. But on the public computers he uses, there are all other ports than port 80 blocked. is there a way to get webmail working on other ports? best regards tom Tyhowlinlenny
Tony
You can use http://webmail.yourdomain.com replacing yourdomain.com with whatever the domain is of the email account. Keep in mind this is not over SSL so it's not as secure as the normal way of accessing webmail.
Pyronious
Thanks for the info. This solution works for my primary domain, but it does not work for any add-on domains. How can I allow a client to access their webmail on their domain (and add-on) using this method (webmail.addondomain.com)? Thank you! Cody R.
Would you mind submitting a ticket for this and reference this post? I suspect this is due to how cPanel creates the web server configs and may not be possible. We may be able to give you an alternative URL however.
