Mushmellow
I cureently have my sub domain forum.mysite.com aand I'm going to convert my site to another forum software. I need the path to my sub domain. I thought it was /home/myuser/forum.mysite.com but it's not. Anyone know what it might be? Or how can I find it? Tony
If you navigate to subdomains in cPanel it should show you the document root of the subdomain there. It's most likely /home/username/public_html/forum.mysite.com if you created the subdomain a long time ago. Only for new subdomains/add-on domains does cPanel put them below the public_html folder. In my experience, in both the old and new styles, the domainname.tld (mysite.com in the example) is NOT appended. Whether residing under either /home/username/public_html or just /home/username/, the folder name is just the simple subdomain name (forum in the example), and not the fully qualified name (forum.mysite.com in the example). In other contexts (logs, ftp, and perhaps others), the fully qualified subdomain name IS used.
