Draka Posted October 21, 2017 Report Posted October 21, 2017 Hi. What is nest to use. Memcached or litespeed. Using phpbb3 and wordpress with cloudflare. Quote
Tony Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 For Wordpress you'd be best to use the Litespeed page caching plugin. For phpbb3 I don't believe there is a plugin for that so you'd want to use Memcached or Redis if either are an option. Quote
Draka Posted October 28, 2017 Author Report Posted October 28, 2017 Thanks. Installing litespeed helped. But should we do anything else than just activate it? Minify js etc? Cloudflare is also enabled (cloudflare plugin) which also minify js. Quote

Since you're using Cloudflare there would be no point in having the Litespeed plugin minify anything as Cloudflare will do it for you and not use your CPU cycles like the plugin would. Quote
Draka Posted October 30, 2017 Author Report Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Thanks. Also found this https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2017/10/25/wpw-how-to-set-up-cloudflare-with-lscache/ UPDATE 02.11.17 If you are using Cloudflare, which is not a reverse-proxy, but actually a distributed proxy server, then you do not need to do anything special in your WordPress setup. You can use Cloudflare and leave the CDN tab disabled. Edited November 1, 2017 by Draka Important info Quote
