onebluea Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Good afternoon. I just installed Gallery2 and it is asking for the Directory to ImageMagick. I put in /usr/local/bin/ and /usr/bin The mesage I receive is: The path you entered is not a valid directory or is not accessible. Do you have any suggestions? thanks, Quote
Tony Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 /usr/bin/convert is where imagemagick is. You may need to make a ticket for us to allow your account access to it. Quote
jonee54 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 i have encountered quite a few installations wherein imagemagick path was not found (if i am not mistaken the app was joomla or maybe wordpress). can hh possibly make at least a link from the standard imagemagick path to the your imagemagick configuration so that the apps would not need to complain about imagemagick not being found? Tony Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 /usr/bin/convert is where imagemagick is always located. The problem is some security we have in place to prevent binary access for PHP. So that is why you'd need to make a ticket for us to give you access to it. Quote
shormram73 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 this script makes a symbolic link in your /usr/bin directory that way you dont have to keep moving files or adding many directories that have different scripts to your PATH statement Code: Quote
