Tony Posted May 8, 2010 Report Share Posted May 8, 2010 The Bosco machine will be upgraded today (May 8th 2010) which means for a few hours today availability of restores will be unavailable while we migrate the system to new hardware. The reason for this upgrade is to provide more space and more importantly improve the speeds of our backup systems The old machine had the following specifications Dual Xeon 5130 4GB RAM 12x1TB Raid-10 The new machine is the following: Dual Xeon 5520 12GB RAM 24x1TB Raid-10 As you can see it's a substantial upgrade from the previous server.
