Jennyy
I need some help transferring hosting from WordPress to HawkHost. I originally have WordPress hosting but had issues with the site being down a number of times over the course of a few days. During that period I started building my WordPress site. Because of the issues I decided to transfer hosting https://www.rugknots.com to HawkHost. I spoke to their support team via ticket before I made the decision and they made the process sound easy. After signing up with HawkHost I tried to have the site migrated but the HawkHost team told me I need to provide access to my Cpanel so they could generate full cPanel backup. Now HawkHost is telling me I need to migrate the domains manually from my end. I have absolutely no idea how to do this. Can anyone help me? Brian
Hello! Can you please DM me your ticket ID that you've opened with our helpdesk? I'd like to take a look at your account specifically to see what options may be available to complete this migration, and with your ticket ID I can follow up with you personally through the helpdesk. What our team has said is correct in that we do only provide full transfers when moving between cPanel based hosts, but if your site is WordPress powered there are other migrations options available (though they do require a bit more manual work than a cPanel based transfer). Thanks!
