We've been able to get it back online though are still investigating what initially casued the issue. Once we further investigate the issue we'll provide further information. Date: 10/17/2009
Cody R. Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 The Venus server is under a DDoS attack casusing server issues. We're currently working on getting this filtered and services restored.
Cody R. Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 Due to the size of the attack we've decided to have the data center enable Cisco Guard accordingly to help filter the attacks. We're currently waiting for them to enable this before we can further mitigate the attack.

Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 We're working with datacenter technicians to mitigate the attack further - Cisco Guard has been enabled / we're rebooting the machine. Once the machine is up we'll be taking further actions to help mitigate the DDoS. Thanks for everyones patience!
