Bozo
Hi, I've just received my invoice for the next year and I was wondering if it would be possible to move my account from Washington to Dallas, as I am now getting much better speeds from Dallas since I have moved location. Thanks
Tony
We could switch your location but keep in mind your IP would be changing so there would be DNS propagation to worry about. If your site has dynamic user content it would be best to disable that until you're resolving to only the new server otherwise you could end up with data being out of sync. This is because some users may go to the old site while others the new so obviously old server people once the dns switches over what they've done will be gone. The DNS propagation shouldn't be a big problem as I can disable forum posts, etc. for 3-4 days until the domain name resolves to the new IP. Do I just need to open a ticket and request the move? Thanks
