How to move Affiliate Commissions Balance into Credit

I'm obviously missing this somewhere because it seems like such a basic part of the affiliate program, but how does the balance I've accrued get moved into Account Credit (and why isn't this done automatically, which would make sense to me)?

 

Visiting My Affiliate page shows that I've presently sitting at $47 for a Commissions Balance, but when I go to place any orders, however, the sidebar shows Credit at $0. When I get to the payment page of any order I'm presented with options for 'Paypal', 'Credit Card' and 'AliPay', but not my Affiliate credit.

 

I'm confused...

 

(If I've missed this explanation somewhere, please point me in the right direction, but this info really should be on the main Affiliate page, I think...)

You'll need to open a ticket with our billing department to approve the referrals then they will turn your affiliate commissions balance into account credit.
