ovaze Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Hi guys, can't seem to find an answer to this one, if you would know its great help! I want to run a CRON job to call a PHP file that IS NOT in my public_html folder. The following works fine: php -q /home/USER/<file> >/dev/null However, I need PHP 5.3... Now in Apache I've setup a handler; but how should I change the CRON command to do the same outside public_html? Thanks! Quote
ovaze Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 Ahhh, found it: /usr/local/php53/bin/php Quote
Tony Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 You used some pretty small text so for anyone else: /usr/local/php53/bin/php That is the location for PHP 5.3 and the location for PHP 5.4 would be: /usr/local/php54/bin/php Quote
