Tony Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 We will be updating the Mercury server kernel to the latest version on Monday June 30th at 7:00am EST. We estimate this will result in about 10 minutes of down time while the server reboots. Keeping kernels up to data is a necessary step in order to stay on top of performance improvements as well as have the latest security fixes. The main reason for this update is to have a kernel that is supported by the new backup system we're using. Once this update is complete we'll start seeding the servers first backup on the new system. Date: 06/30/2008 Start time (EST): 7:00am End time (EST): 7:30am Duration: 30 minutes Expected Down Time: 10 minutes
