StraightStuff
I in the process of moving my site to Hawk Host. I have main domain "sitename.net" which on the Hawk Host servers points to "/home/sitename" as the home directory. I am using Joomla and have previously had my Joomla files installed in a sub-directory called "Joomla". Therefore I want to have "/home/sitename/Joomla" be the destination of the URL "http://sitename.net". How do I make that happen here. I am quite confused as to the correct method to make this work. Please help. Thank you.
Tony
It will not be possible to do that the public_html needs to act as the document root of the primary domain. It think the best solution is to just modify the Joomla settings to reflect the change in paths. Every other solution just could lead to potential problems and best to just learn how to correct it if the path ever changes again.
