There are two ways to use SFTP. The first one is using username and password of your account. So in that case you just select SFTP from the drop down and put in your information.

The second one you need to generate a key in cPanel download it then import it into Filezilla using the instructions on the page provided. Then on the SFTP setup you just add the username and it'll authenticate using the SSH key.

Thanks a lot Tony, but in the first way where i dont have to get the keys, i get an authentication error:

Status: Connecting to ftp.******.com...

Response: fzSftp started

Command: open "******@******.com@ftp.******.com" 22

Command: Pass: **********

Error: Authentication failed.

Error: Critical error

Error: Could not connect to server

Will try the second one i just thought the first step would be so much easier for non techie webmasters.

Edit: the second method is saying the .reg file couldnt be loaded or does not contain a private key on both filezilla & puttygen. Help please. :D

Is SSH enabled on your account? It needs to be enabled in order to use sftp. I would recommend making a ticket for further help though really tough to say what's going on.
