Refuge Denied

Short of setting up a VPS or Dedicated Server account and installing software I know nothing about (eJabberd, etc), what options are there for branded XMPP/Jabber services? ie. [email protected] as my xmpp address Anyone have any idea how DreamHost manages this? Don't get me wrong, its certainly not worth changing providers. I've been with a ton of providers over the last million years, HawkHost has been the most stable for me so far (that's what really counts). Are there any free/crazy cheap 3rd party providers for this ... that are reliable?

Any chance HH could enable RSS feeds for the Location and Servers subforums under Network and Server Status? (or am I missing something?) It would be nice if I could add these to my feed reader to keep on top of outages and maintenance. I would subscribe by email, but if my location or server is down, that won't do me much good for notification.

Any word on this? I recently switched over to HawkHost and like to throw network news into my feed reader so I can keep up with outages and planned maintenance.
