bolotine
My ISP throttles ftp back down to nothing from time to time. It happens everywhere. As a result, I end up using the command line since ftp clients keep opening new connections till the max out. I was downloading files from HH today and came across the status chat below. Check out line two. 150-Accepted data connection 150-The computer is your friend. Trust the computer 150 3489.8 kbytes to download 226-File successfully transferred 226 23.294 seconds (measured here), 149.81 Kbytes per second 3573563 bytes received in 26.7 secs (134.08 Kbytes/sec) Anyone seen that before? Tony
I think this is pretty sound advice the ftp server has given you. The computer is your friend and you should trust it. Seriously though it's an easter egg in pureftpd.
