Cody R. Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 It appears one of the drives went bad in the array - it's currently attempting a rebuild so when that finishes we'll have that swapped out for a new one to prevent future issues.
Cody R. Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 We're currently experiencing high IO wait on the server from the array rebuilding as well as the large amount of requests trying to go on. I'll be seeing if there is anything I can do to alleviate the load a bit.
Cody R. Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 IO is down and everything is loading snappy per usual - I'll be watching the server and once the array is rebuilt we'll be swapping out the drive that went bad. This should incur no further downtime.
Cody R. Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 The array has rebuilt and is fully operational. We'll be consulting with the data center regarding replacing this drive. We'll be closing this issue as it's complete.
