Oh interesting. I did not realize you could install Pear modules through cpanel. I tried to do so on my current hosting provider and it just spits out quite a number of errors. I am just wanting to verify that it actually installs the Pear modules (via command line as well as cpanel possibly?). I am a very big user of command line tools, really only pear and vi.

If I purchased a shared hosting package, could I use pear to install some pear packages? If not shared hosting, which hosting would I need to be able to use the pear package installer? Thanks!
