I guess I'll have to search the web some more. The reason why I don't want the backup to be placed on the server is because there's no point. If Hawk Host's servers ever crash I'd lose by backup so emailing it to my gmail account would be the best method.

Can anyone tell me how I can create a backup of my database and send to to my email address via a con job?

My previous host is good but only good due to slow ping times and some downtime. I read reviews on Hawk Host and all reviews sound positive. I hope this host will be great and not just good.
