The customer support requested that I provide complete information about my bank account number and PIN. I provided everything as requested, but all I received was a waiting time for them to escalate it to level 2 or something? I don't understand their process, especially when I noted in the ticket that it was urgent. This is really a disappointing experience

Thank goodness I'm finally back with cPanel!

Hawk Host, so far, has kept my website online and usable and has allowed me to showcase products to future customers and information to my existing customers, something that is very important to me.

I'm a web developer from Indonesia who previously had hosted more than 100 cPanel accounts on other webhosting companies.

I've tried a lot of web hosting companies for the last 15+ years. from shared, from reseller package and VPS. mostly are pretty good, until when ultimately they came to a problem (from server crash, out of memory, DDOS, network not found problem, random downtimes, etc) that caused me to never going back to them again.

then I switched to Hawkhost in 2017.

competitive pricing, a very good product-solution & great customer support.

there are no webhosting without problems -- I have opened nearly 50 support tickets to date (each with tons of replies), but I have never came across a problem which the Hawkhost support team can't give solution to. most of the support tickets were answered in 1 hour or less. only in one occasion it took more than 3 hour.

I never have a problem with DDOS, no out of memory, no severe random downtimes, and Hawkhost's cPanel extra content is quite complete to my needs.

some of Indonesia's mobile ISP had network-not-found problem with some hosting companies, but apparently it's working very well with Hawkhost.

Hawkhost also installed cPanel package (like PEAR) when I need one.

the server are very stable. I once had an external server monitoring service running, checking one of the account, for more than 2 years, and I never had a noticeable downtime.

I have no constraints in using the reseller package accounts, like: I used to have an account that run very lightweight cron jobs, but with short-interval.

I have to whitelist my IP every time my IP changed & I need to access remote MySql, kinda annoying at the first time but I can accept & understand it's for security measures.

the most important things are the server flexibility, stability and speed -- and I have no complaints for these issues.

and the last thing on my support ticket recently was, I asked if my current reseller package (which had smaller storage, 2017) can be upgraded to the new reseller package details (which has larger storage specification for the same price, 2021) and Hawkhost happily changed my package detail, and I'm very delightful for that.

all I can say I'm more than pleased becoming Hawkhost's customer.

thanks to the Hawkhost team for the service so far, and I'm looking forward for another years to come with Hawkhost. will surely recommend Hawkhost to my peers.

	cheers.

So we migrated in A fairly smooth migration with no hiccups, nominal downtime, and only a forgotten Softaculous installation that was discovered and fixed later. So far, great stuff! Quite simply, HawkHost has delivered yet again :-) more power, less cost, quite simply can't be beat!

I don't spend much time with their hosts though, because it's usually just a matter of uploading and viewing stuff. The only thing that affects me are the sometimes hilariously slow ftp speeds and the occasional irritating mysql configuration.

I resell for a couple of them as a way to pay for my own hosting fees, so for my own stuff I've used two prior hosts over the years, both major companies most people will be familiar with (lets call them Dream* and Go*)

Both the above guys I was with offered pretty much the lowest rates and unlimited everything, which was nice. Go* has the most atriocious and impossible to use control panel I've ever seen in my life, and I switched away from them because it made me want to cut myself when navigating it. Also, they were annoying in general, shoving ads everywhere.

The other, Dream*, were actually pretty good to me. Their support was nice, they have a custom control panel that's nicer than cpanel, good one click installs, SSH access by default, free reselling, and I was with them for I think about 6 or 7 years.

So I have nothing against them and recommend them if you're on a budget and want unlimited everything...

BUT... their servers were too damn slow and their VPS package was not much better (and required me to purchase a separate mysql package if I didn't want to be on a terribly slow shared database host). Any page of mine that required database queries (especially wordpress) took too many seconds to load. Their speed gradually worse over the years as I'm sure my shared host computer got bogged down with customers' garbage, and I eventually got annoyed enough to leave.

So I read reviews for a few hours and stumbled on hawkhost. I went with it becaus of the reviews, because they're NOT unlimited (I don't need unlimited and don't want people slowing my server down), and the well priced reseller options. A bit over a month in, and having transferred most of my sites, I'm glad I did. The server is blazing fast on most page loads. I can tell you which host I'm FTPing files to just by the speed of the transfer, the difference is that big.

I had/have one strange problem where about 1 in 50 page views the page appears to hang, but I can't reproduce it reliably. This gave me a chance to test support with some questions and the response was great. Quick and friendly.

If I had to make one complaint, it's that I don't like cpanel very much, some of the off the shelf addons for it like RVthemes are confusing and pretty junky, but once I sorted out how to work around that it doesn't matter. Almost all the other hosts I tried use it too, so it's not much of a complaint.

Review for HawkHost on the whoishostingthis.com website

I wrote a review for HawkHost a few weeks back, and they finally posted it on October 27th, 2018. I must have wrote it on September 15th, 2018, according to the date that accompanies the review. I didn't know for sure whether they would include the review or not, but to their good credit, they did. Because they did, here's a link to their review section for HawkHost:

As the title says loved Hawk Host when I had a shared account but after exchanging 12 messages in a support ticket with support I have been unable to log into my cloud hosted site even once. Even following links they gave me and the details in the e-mail for the cloud hosted site I was always met with wrong log in message. This is not to over look when I tried for got username and entered my e-mail it would say the e-mail couldn't be found which is odd since I get updates to my support tickets with the e-mail I used with my shared account. Both of which used the same account.

I'm already planning to go back to my old host after this experience with Hawk Host. I'll just take the money I'm going to lose on cloud hosting, since the TOS doesn't list Cloud being covered in the 30 day money back guarantee. I'll just take this as a learning experience. I'll still tell people to try Hawk Host for shared hosting but if they want to upgrade I'll suggest read reviews of other companies.

So I was renewing my domain tonight and noticed, that instead of 13.95 I was charged 10.95, which supposedly meant only one thing: ID protection service is free again. I remember it was initialy free and then you had to pay a few bucks extra for it, but tonight it came back to the roots, and in a good way.

Thanks for you're service, guys. It was especially nice, because I could renew it without sending emails to anyone. The option was available in the web interface itself. It would be even better to be able to renew a shared hosting plan just like this: without emails or support tickets

Felt compelled to write a review somewhere after yet another awesome customer service experience with HawkHost.

I've been a customer for years, recently upgraded from shared to semi-dedicated service. Both were excellent and the HH team made the transition quick and painless.

What I really love is the tech support / customer service. Good service can be hard to come by these days, in favor of chat bots and outsourcing, but every single time I contact HawkHost I get a response VERY quickly and they're always able to help with any issue or question I have.

Great job HawkHost. Anybody reading these reviews and wondering which host to choose, look no further.

I have two websites, which had been hosted at Hostgator starting in 2006 and 2012.
For most of that time, everything there was fine.

The second one launched right around the time of the (disastrous - for customers)
EIG buyout, but at that time I had never heard of EIG and knew nothing about the buyout.

For a while after that, things continued okay, as the old infrastructure remained in place.
Eventually, I was "upgraded" to the EIG data center, and both the support and performance started to suffer.
There were several big outages, and quite often database operations would fail, reflecting overloaded servers.

In June, 2015 I decided enough was enough and, after reading some of the comments on Webhostingtalk,
went with a fantastic deal on Stablehost. Surely, the support there was much better, but there were some
issues that just never quite got resolved.

In July, 2015, I decided to give Hawkhost a try with the other site.
Things went well with that and in August, I moved the first one over as well.

Six months later, I could not be more pleased with that decision.
Hawkhost's Shared Hosting and service is about as close to perfect as is possible.

Uptime: between the two sites, there has been maybe 20 or 30 minutes of downtime in the course of these six months.

Speed: pages load very quickly and there is no annoying cache getting in the way of seeing recent updates.
Database-query-based responses are incredibly fast.

Support: responses are prompt, and usually solve the problem quickly.
In fact, there have not been more than a few minor issues.
On occasion it does take a little convincing that a problem is not in my code, but in the server software.

One case was especially impressive:
I came across a problem with Server Side includes, which proved to be a Litespeed bug.
Incredibly, this was reported and fixed within FOUR DAYS (including a weekend).
It might have taken Hostgator much longer than that just to issue a canned "not our problem" response,
never mind reporting it to the vendor and getting it fixed (at all).

Price: doesn't match the WHT special price I got at Stablehost,
but is way, way lower than Hostgator's now overpriced inferior product.

Overall, on all those important criteria: Uptime, Performance, Support, and Price,
Hawkhost deserves an "A" or "A+" or 4- or 5- stars.

Keep up the good work and high standards!
So on Hawkhost right now:

---I have my personal shared space for my blog, few project sites, etc.

---For a non-profit I volunteer at, we have a VPS for our website that I help manage

Also as well (not on Hawkhost) I manage a website for a large government agency on their own infrastructure, and have seen much in my 20 years experience on the interwebs.

	Performance:

Of both of these has been nothing shy of amazing, the VPS server just doesn't quit no matter what kind of load we throw at it. We're fairly quiet most of the time but at certain times of the year we spike. Never an issue. My blog has never had any noticeable degradation either, just purrs like a kitten. Compare it to the big website I manage who gives me grief every now and again performance wise and I'm grateful Hawkhost doesn't give me much grief.

	Reliability:

It really is nice going back to my non-profit's director's and telling them that I've had no unplanned downtime incidents since we've had the site :-) can't say that about the government agency I also work with...

In conclusion: It just works out here :-)

I'd like to offer some feedback on my initial experiences.

I have never until now transferred hosting before. While my web site is trivial, I was concerned about email and downtime for that. Pre-sales were really helpful and answered questions quickly and more accurately than other companies.

With the transfer, they managed to transfer all the information from my old cpanel based account to the new system. The downtime was minimal and HawkHost were helpful in advising how to minimise the downtime.

The only hiccup was in the transfer of a particular gallery application. However with patient assistance we finally found a working solution which I fed back to support for future reference.

I also found that when I asked some fairly detailed questions on email configuration with spam assassin versus spamexperts and how best to get the latter working I was very impressed by the technical support (and even getting a response from Tony!). SpamExperts seems to be vastly better than SpamAssassin and I am now getting much less spam which was one of my main reasons for moving.

The extensive two factor authentication is excellent and it integrates perfectly with FreeOTP (which I can highly recommend).

	Thanks

I'll keep it brief as a detailed post I just wrote disappeared !

It follows the disappearance of 2 support tickets

This fustration continues as I need to have 3, YES THREE logins just to navigate the site

one sign in to access the client area

another sign in to access the cPanel, but I don't have the password just a username (thanks, thats a big help)

and finally had to create another login just to complain

So unhappy with this hosting company

So the non-profit I'm working with had an old site on a GoDaddy shared plan, that was just hobbling along with 1 minute per page load times. Uggggh...I took over made a few initial improvements on GoDaddy, such as adding a Wordpress Cache plugin, etc. To speed things up, got page load times under 10 seconds. Then made a recommendation to get it off of GoDaddy and for extra growing room, let's consider a VPS. Of course with my favorite hosting guys at HawkHost.

Got the server created, got the site moved, etc. My first load was already feeling a bit faster than GoDaddy...

But wait, I didn't even activate the Cache Plugin for Wordpress yet....DAYUM!

Very cool Hawkhost, very cool :-)

Support keeps telling me my site is up. That isn't my site. Its an ad someone from support put there. They said I could play with it while waiting for propagation. That's not what I wanted. I want to see and work on my site. Why is this so difficult?

The pastel colors with white box in the center isn't my site. http://www.murdercity.xyz

I think that I should write this one... Previously my Jasa SEO site (bengkelseo.net) frequently moved to another hosting provider due to poor quality of service, but in Hawkhost everything went smoothly. I no longer find significant constraint on the performance of my website.
