Tony
We've received RAID alerts that one of the hard drives on the Neptune server has failed. On Friday March 23rd between 1:00am and 4:00am EDT we will be taking the server offline to update the raid card firmware along with the currently working drives then finally replace the failed drive. Due to the fact we will be upgrading firmware versions we estimate the server will be down for up to an hour while we do this. The firmware upgrades are necessary as the hard drives are currently out of date and the replacement drive will contain newer firmware. This poses much higher risks of data loss so we've elected to update all the firmware before replacing the failed drive. We're sorry about any inconvenience this may cause but it is necessary maintenance to continue to offer optimal performance and continued data integrity. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us via our support desk. Date: 03/23/2012 Start time (EDT): 1:00am End time (EDT): 4:00am Duration: 3 hours Estimated Down Time: 1 hour sheereora and addematrignee
