Tony Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 Today the Adaptec raid card in Skyline alerted us to a possible problem with the third drive in the servers raid array. As a precautionary measure we are replacing this drive as we believe it to be related to us having to reboot the server today. This will be happening tonight between 5pm EST and 7PM EST. We expect no down time during the replacement as the server has hot swap bays. Once a new drive is added the raid array will be rebuilding the drive in order to have it have the correct data. We expect a little higher load but nothing to cause a degradation in services. We're very sorry about the short notice on this but it is necessary we swap this drive out as soon as possible.
