Raptor
I use a gmail id for all the official mails for my forum. But, somehow it's been marked as spam and potentially dangerous. Whatever mail I send or is sent from the forum is automatically put into the spam folder and marked with a red header stating that the user is trying to get your personal information. I have tried contacting gmail, but I haven't received any reply. Someone told me that it's due to my previous host, who were blacklisted by spam filters, and so the email was marked as spam. Can hawkhost do anything about it and help me out?
Tony
Have you setup SPF and domain key records? If you have not you should do that via cPanel. Besides that though there is nothing we can do to help with this as these filters it's content based which you can only fix by changing the templates of the emails to look less generic and more unique. Raptor
Nope, I haven't setup SPF and domain key records. Where is that available in the CPanel? Can you please guide me? And regarding the emails, the emails get sent to the spam no matter what I write, even if it's just a word.
Tony
You setup SPF and domain keys from the "Email Authentication" option in cPanel.
