  1. Wow, this was easy to solve. If you haven't done so, install the ruby-mysql gem for ruby 2.9.8 and it'll clear the error.
  2. I've been using an old redmine version for at least 2 weeks or more without a problem. I plan to do an upgrade soon to the latest 1.4.x version. However, recently and for no apparent reason, redMine refuses to load. I just keep getting this error. I tried stopping the Rails App and starting it again but that didn't do anything. What has gone wrong in redMine? Also, is it possible I could get someone at hawkhost to perform a redMine upgrade for me because I'm not confident in upgrading this rather irksome tracking system. Internal error An error occurred on the page you were trying to access. If you continue to experience problems please contact your redMine administrator for assistance. Back
  3. I'm looking to install redMine on Hawkhost. I used this guide before: http://forums.hawkhost.com/topic/500-newbie-question-re-installing-redmine-a-ruby-application/ But that concerns a really old version and the info may have changed. Anyone know how to set up the most latest redMine version that's allowed on Hawkhost ? This is quite a high priority for me.
  4. The Voodoo MySQL server is not loading.
  5. Hi I tried upgrading to 0.9.x and due to whatever is wrong with the ruby setup, it is not possible to upgrade beyond 0.8.7. You will get the following error when trying to run the command below: Command: rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV="production" Error: rake aborted! undefined local variable or method `version_requirements' for #<Rails::GemDepe ndency:0x2ad42f68c468> Hope this helps Tony!
  6. I tried installing 0.9.6 before and it wouldn't work (it kept asking me to install the latest gem and that didn't work either as it would error with the VersionDependancy crap, so it was a lose-lose situation) Glad to hear it will be fixed
  7. Lol, I've used SSH a lot now, coming from knowing the rm -rf * command to using rake and process killing I got the process killed and it's loading fine now. Thanks! Slightly related, what's the highest maximum version of redmine that can be installed on the Hawkhost servers? I don't want to open myself to known security issues in 0.8.5 and want to upgrade to something like 0.9.6.
  8. Hey Thanks to the help of the Support Staff, I got redmine installed on the server. But now I'm having a problem where my rails app refuses to restart. Although I've clicked stop, it doesn't. The rails app status constantly reads Not Running, even though it clearly is. I need to restart my app to make a new theme show up as a setting and currently cannot. Any assistance is appreciated

WTF????? Why has my cpanel account been emptied???
  11. Hi I'm currently hosting a website that hosts an "under-development" CMS solution. One of the needs of our project is to have Redmine. We chose Hawkhost simply because I used this host before with no issues. However, we are having all sorts of problems trying to get Redmine to work. Some of the support staff here will likely have seen my ticket regarding this, but I decided to use the forums instead. 1) Redmine keeps throwing a 500 Internal Error. 2) Apache needs to be restarted as one of my devs did something in cpanel. Thank you.
